Where The Glass Slipper Always Fits

Hello!

So I have been to the states and returned. -sigh- My time there went WAY to fast and I can't believe I have been home a week already!

I know you are all probably excited to hear how my surprise to Zak went, my quick trip to DC and then my Cat reunion with all my old roomies so let's dive right into it!

So on the Monday I landed into Florida and went straight to my hotel where I checked in and had a quick nap before I headed to my old home studios where I visited some very good friends of mine with Courtney. However Florida decided that I hadn't seen rain in a while and it poured on us! We left after 2 hours and I went back to the hotel where I changed and had a quick dinner before I headed out to Kitty's to surprise Zak. When I got there I worked it out with Drew to make sure he was there and to keep Zak inside because I was outside, I then snapchatted him a picture of me with his favourite beer with a caption that went along the lines of: Remember when I celebrated your bday last year?" The moment he opened it, I walked in and surprised him! Pretty sure he did a double take before giving me the biggest bear hug ever! He thought I was meant to be on a plane still. Needless to say my 5 month surprise was worth it!

Yay. First picture down!

Recreating old pictures without Austin

The following day started the celebration of Zak's birthday. First Stop Magic Kingdom to drink at Gaston's Tavern.
MONORAIL!

Second stop of the day was Animal Kingdom for drinks at 3 of the locations there. We also went on Everest; for anyone who remembers I HATE Everest. The photo that Zak took of me proves how much I hate it.

Yep, still hate Everest.

2nd Monument? Tick!

After Animal Kingdom it was off to our home, Hollywood Studios. While there we saw some old friends from another galaxy, some friendly Muppets and just our normal regular friends. Studios was a quick visit as there were only two bars to visit but I got to have my favourite blue drink again and get a souvenir ice cube again.. Great..

 Hey, You look familar!

3rd Monument down, 1 to go!

Now it was time to go to our last location, EPCOT! I drove us from Studios across to Boardwalk where we stopped by ESPN to recreate one of our good friends poses who used to bartend there.

 I'm with him <--

Trademark Austin pose at ESPN

Once we hit EPCOT it was off to the ball to get our last picture before starting drinking around the world in Canada. We made it through and finished the last 2 countries in 10 minutes! Needless to say the last 5 countries were pretty much buy a beer, walk and drink, buy another, but we did it, thus completing Zaks Disney Golden Mile Birthday Challenge!

 WE DID IT!

Kisses at the last monument!

Now this brings me to Wednesday, where I flew to DC to see my good friend Austin. I also got to meet his room mate who was incredibly nice and made me feel very welcome as well as see the fabulous Artooie again! Sadly Austin had to work the next day so I didn't get to hang out as much as I would've liked but I still had fun. I also didn't get a single picture with him which was a little upsetting when I realised as I sat at the airport.

Seriously the cutest dog. (Aside from mine of course)

So now it's Thursday night which means CAT REUNION! When I landed it was off to Fort Wilderness to check into our cabin which happened to be Cabin 2403 - our apartment was 4302. It was clearly meant to be! We pretty much finished Alisons costume and then went to bed before heading to Magic Kingdom the following day.

Friday Fun Day! It was an early start as we headed to Magic Kingdom to see some characters and hang out before we got ready for the Halloween Party that night.  We saw Gaston, Peter Pan (OF COURSE) Dream Along with Mickey; there was no way I was missing that show! Ate at Be Our Guest for lunch and tried the Grey stuff; it WAS delicious, experienced an Enchanted Tale with Belle and had a good time overall.

 Kisses!

Be Our Guest, be our guest!

After a fun filled day in Magic Kingdom we watched Celebrate a Dream Come True, before heading into Town Square to finally see the Boss! I was so excited to see Mickey again! As we entered his room I noted that it was bigger then I remembered but didn't think anything of it before I started talking with Lena, it was then I realised something was different. MICKEY MOUSE WAS TALKING! I quickly glanced over Lena to see Mickey talking to a young boy and I literally BURST INTO TEARS! All my dreams were coming true, I never in a million years thought I would get to experience Mickey talking to me, but today all that was going to change. When it was our turn to meet him I ran up, still crying and gave him the biggest hug and was speechless. Mickey then talked with us before showing us a super cool magic trick and then taking pictures. Needless to say my whole vacation had been made in 5 minutes. I'll never forget the day that I spoke with Mickey and had him talk back to me.

Kisses from 4302.

So now it's night time which means, Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party! The girls and I dressed up as the fairies from the Tinkerbell movies:
  • Lena - Silvermist
  • Caitie - Rosetta
  • Allison - Vidia
  • Alison - Periwinkle
  • I was Tinkerbell
I had the most fun playing dress ups with the girls and loved it when little kids would see me and scream it's TINKERBELL. During Boo to You (parade) I made friends with a very young baby who loved Tinkerbell and kept looking at me and holding her arms out for a hug, she was so adorable. While at MNSSHP we flew into Pixie Hollow and met Rosetta, Tink and Terence which was super exciting! We also went trick or treating, watched Hallowishes and the parade and before we knew it the night was over.

 Flying with Terence.

Tink flew into our picture with Rosetta, talk about making magic.

All the fairies!

Oh my gosh! Today's the day. Brian and JoJo are getting MARRIED! While the girls headed out to EPCOT for Food and Wine I chose to stay back in the Cabin and get ready for the wedding after running some errands in the morning. While walking to Zak's car I had my beloved iPhone 4S in my hand and thought I placed it in my bag as I hopped into his car, before he mentioned he needed a pen to write in the card he had brought, I mistakenly said pull into my cabin and I'll grab you a pen and when I got back into his car I couldn't find my phone anywhere. When we got to the wedding I quickly borrowed Zak's car to drive back to the cabin to see if it had fallen on the road but it wasn't there. I sped back to the wedding and made it with 2 minutes to spare before the ceremony started. PHEW! Their ceremony was perfect in every way, as was there reception. I even danced with my best friend, like an actual hand in hand, hand on shoulder, hand on waist dance. After the wedding a group of us headed to Kittys for more beverages which is where things got a little complicated. I fell over at some stage, but NOONE remembers it.

Boomer, myself and David (he is also Aussie)

Ouch, it's Sunday and my head hurts! I had to say goodbye to the girls as 3 of them had to fly back home and off I went to buy a new iPhone 5C as the 5S won't work in Australia and they didn't have any unlocked anyway. After doing that I rechecked into the hotel when I first arrived and went to bed, when I woke that's when the damage of the night before was realised. I had a black eye, bruising under my chin, bruising on my left knee and a cut but worst of all it hurt to stand on my right foot. I looked at my shoes and the right one was ruined which was upsetting as they were new shoes and then the thought of my dress crossed my mind, however it had survived, not a single tear thank goodness! After a quick stop at Walgreens to get some ice and a bandage it was off to Downtown Disney for some lunch before I headed out to Universal with Zak for Horror Nights. BEST FRIEND TIME! Horror nights was fantastic and I loved every single minute even though it killed to walk on my foot, we even got to do The Walking Dead twice thanks to no line in the beginning and our express passes! We also managed to get on Transformers with no wait and Despicable Me. I had a fantastic night and couldn't have asked for it to be any better, well maybe not having a sore foot. . .

Bill and Teds!

 Moes Tavern!

DUFF MAN!

IT'S SO FLLLLLLLUFFFFFFFY!

It's now Monday. It's my last day. Eek where has time gone? Today I slept in before having a late lunch at Panera with Alison before I headed to Magic Kingdom with Courtney. While there we met the Princesses, Tiana and Naveen, got to fly with Terence one last time and say goodbye to my blueberry roommate, saw Gaston and watched Wishes. There were tears of course.

 Still a princess.

 My favourite frog man.

It was so much fun hopping over to say hello.

Love.

My fabulous blueberry Alison.

Watch out for Ruffians Punzie!

Jasmine was so excited to see me again!

 I love this man.

BEST! DAY! EVER!

A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes

I was so excited to fly with Terence one last time!

Where The Glass Slipper Always Fits.

After saying goodbye to Courtney it was off to Kittys for the last time to say goodbye to my best friend once again. I swear I has only done it. Once again there were tears, singing Land Down Under and laughter followed by tears as I said goodbye to my best friend.

 Last Picture.

 Bye Kissing Cousin!

 No beer in our picture!

Waiting for our beer.

Well now it's Tuesday and time to say goodbye to the states once again. Fast forward a day and bit and it's Thursday and I'm back home on the Coast. After a visit to hospital for an X-Ray where they said no fracture, take painkillers and walk on your foot; before a visit to my doctor on Friday and getting CT scans and an Ultrasound where I found out I have done damage to my foot and need to wear a moon boot, before heading back to hospital to be fitted with said moon boot.

Going back to work minus the moon boot because I need a letter saying I have to wear it, visiting my doctor on Tuesday to get said letter and find out that I've partially torn ligaments and get to wear my moon boot minimum 2 weeks but possibly 6 weeks it brings me to today, to this very post.

I know it's a long post but i had a lot to tell you! And there's pictures!

So after traveling just under 70 hours with 5 airlines, over 3 countries, visiting 7 different airports over 10 days I'm back home.

Until next time,
Stay Magical
xx
