Marching on out

Hello!

How is everything going? So it's been about a week since I last posted and a fair bit went on.

On Sunday the 18th I worked and after work I went to EPCOT with Melanie, Tara and Brian to watch Starship preform and to kill time before we headed to Zak's brothers birthday party at Dave and Busters. While at EPCOT Mel and Brian had some beer in America and England, and Brian got a slushie in America - he is a 4 year old I swear. We also went to Norway and rode the ride which we lined up for 20 minutes for, 30 seconds later we were off the ride (I wouldn't put it on your to do list). After EPCOT we left and went to Dave and Busters, it's basically a restaurant, bar and arcade games in one. It was a lot of FUN and I beat all the boys at their own games . . .

I then versed Matt (Zak's brother) and he beat me, but I was fine with it, because I beat all the others, and they all knew about it. I tend to gloat, and you have to admit, a 20 year old, 161cm girl beating 30+ year old, 175+cm boys at arcade games. We left just after 12am and it was off to bed before my early start the next morning. It was a great day and I'm glad I got to be a part of everything.

So now it is Monday and I had work, it was okay. It was at Muppet's which was good, Tara and I had a bad day and didn't really talk which sucked. That was about it.

Now we are up to Tuesday. This was a good day. It was my Saturday. I spent the day in bed watching Netflix and went to the pool. Then I was invited to happy hour, so I went to Applebees with Brian and he had his beer and I had my lemon water - YUM and he got steak and I got salad, and I got to watch him try and pick up the waitress. Good times! After happy hour we went to Florida Mall to do some shopping (6:30pm-ish by now) and we went to some sports stores - lame, but then we went to: 

• Forever 21
• Mac
• Cotton On 
• Disney Store
• Macy's
• Starbucks
• Victoria's Secret (He stayed outside for that) 
• Pandora

After we did all that he brought a stormtrooper t-shirt and it was off to Retro Room (it's a bar). Once again when we got there it was dead and full of old seedy men, as usual I was the youngest person there and one of about 6 females. Great times. Brian had beer again and I had water. To pass time we 'people watched' and made stories up about what they did, why they were here, whom they would leave with etc. Eventually we were joined by friends and we all played 'Draw Something' until 1am when we left, and it was off to bed again.

Wednesday. My Sunday. I spent the day sleeping and hanging out with my roommate Lauren, we went to Target to get some stuff for her and then we came home, ate lunch and napped. It was a perfect Sunday. 

Thursday, my last shift at Muppets until Saturday the 31st. I walked in to start my shift and was greeted with, you've been force extended from 2:30-8:30 to 2:30-9:30pm, yay. NOT. However my shift went by way to fast because I had the best luck ever and my best friend was there - SWEETUMS! From 2:30 - 7:00pm I was Exit where I collect the glasses after the show and stack them, or I tasked where I just help out where I'm needed which was mostly exit, which meant I got to see my friend a lot! 

 

Also Zak and Brian were there but I mostly saw Zak, who finally brought me a water gun, since Sweetums likes to have water fights. So I spent most of my shift doing my job and then when waiting for my que having water and wrestling fights with Sweetums. He thinks because he is bigger he will win, but I have the advantage here because I'm smaller I can hie in places he can't get. Unfortunately our fights didn't end well, because Sweetums cheats and would wrestle with me and he managed to hit me in the face at one stage, which neither of us realized until I went to the bathroom just before my shift ended and realized I had a black eye! Below is what it looked like the next day.

Sweetums is lucky he doesn't have to see me until the 31st. But he was very sorry and so was Zak, and when I visited them both yesterday they gave me big hugs, to make up for it, but Sweetums had better look out. 

 

After I finished work at 9:30 Jordy came and picked me up and took me to Walmart to do some grocery shopping, and then I came home and we got changed and went to TGIF for dinner at 11:30pm at night, we met up with Brandon, Priscilla and Tara and we had a blast. Jordy had a little bit too much to drink so I drove us back to his place in his Jeep, which is a manual, let me tell you, changing gears with my right hand instead of my left was more weird then the fact I was driving on the wrong side of the road! However in saying that, for my first time driving in the states, in a bigger car then I was used to, you should be proud. I stayed on the correct side of the road, even when turning left at traffic lights, I didn't stall the car (it was manual) and I owned it! We all stayed at Jordy's and then I brought us back at 7:30am Friday morning.

Now we are at Friday, my Monday. Finally after 2 weeks with Sweetums, I finally got to go back to Darth Vader and his Troopers, I think they missed me, and I missed them. So I had a good shift, I was tired from the night before with my 3 hours sleep, nothing too exciting or dramatic happened which was a plus and I didn't have any parents get cranky at me. It was all us CP's closing last night which was fun, and Tara and I are back to normal which is good. I missed her. Her Grandma and Dad came down to surprise her which was exciting because I was around to see it happen and that was about it.

And here we are at today. Saturday! I'm currently just relaxing in bed watching time pass by me as I wait to slowly start getting ready for work at 2:30. I hope that I have a good shift today and that it goes by fast.

Aside from all of that not much else is happening, sometime last week I drew a picture for Sweetums of him and me and he hung it up on his cork board which was nice of him, he did laugh when he saw himself though, but I think it looks good - I even gave him his torch and fire bucket!

That's pretty much it for now. I am 1/4 of the way through my program with just 9 months and 11 days left to go. Only 4 days until my brother turns 14! STILL DON'T KNOW WHERE THE LAST 14 YEARS HAVE GONE! And just trying to have as much fun as I can.
